House Rules

By booking a furnished apartment from ALFA WORK or a vacation home from ALFA WORK you agree to our house rules:

  1. Check-in is possible in the period 16:00 – 22:00, the latest Check-Out time is 10:00. Guests who exceed the latest check-out time bear all associated additional costs, including the costs of an unscheduled cleaning operation or of providing replacement accommodation for the following guests. The contractual penalty in this case is set and invoiced at a minimum of one additional night at the respective applicable overnight rate.
  2. Reservations by guests whose regular place of residence is in the same locality are declined. Please contact us before booking in case of emergencies.
  3. An absolute smoking ban applies throughout the entire house including communal areas, excluding balconies and terraces. In the event of a violation, a cleaning and disinfection fee of 250 EUR is charged. The same applies to the manipulation of smoke detectors. 
  4. We do not allow parties or events in our apartments and therefore monitor the noise level with the MINUT System in order to ensure a pleasant coexistence for all tenants and guests. The sensor is installed outside the bedrooms in the hallway and reacts to an excessive noise level of over 80 dB. 
  5. Quiet hours in the period 22:00 – 07:00 must be strictly observed. Out of consideration for the neighbourhood, please take care to switch down a gear where necessary and change to room volume, which corresponds to 50-55 dB.
  6. The settings on the technical devices (e.g. TV) may not be changed. The loss or damage of the remote controls is charged at 50 EUR.
  7. The use of ALFA WORK apartments for purposes other than accommodation is expressly prohibited. In particular, this includes any commercial or illegal use. In the event of a violation, a contractual penalty of at least 250 EUR becomes due; further claims for damages remain reserved.
  8. Commercial photography and video recordings without our written permission are prohibited.
  9. Overnight guests in a number exceeding that stated at the time of booking are not permitted. For each unauthorised guest an additional fee of 50 EUR/night is charged.
  10. Waste must be separated in accordance with the instructions posted in our apartments. In the event of a violation, a waste re-sorting fee of 50 EUR is charged.
  11. Pets are not allowed. In the event of a violation, we reserve the right to charge a separate cleaning flat rate. If you rely on an assistance animal, please contact us in advance.
  12. Bringing and operating your own large appliances – in particular air conditioners, fan heaters, washing machines, dryers or comparable devices – is prohibited without prior consent from ALFA WORK in text form. Approved operation is subject to a usage fee of 5 EUR per device and day from the start of use, due to the increased electricity and monitoring effort. If a device is operated without consent, this fee shall be deemed agreed following a corresponding notice; the right to prohibit operation and to cancel the booking pursuant to Rule 16 remains unaffected.
  13. The guest is liable for culpably or negligently caused inventory damage, the loss of keys and access cards, and gross soiling.
  14. Inventory damage must be reported immediately.
  15. In accommodations with communal areas – such as rooms with a shared bathroom or a shared kitchen – interim cleaning during the rental period is not included in the offer. Keeping these areas clean is the responsibility of the users themselves; the notices posted in the house apply in addition. If an area remains soiled despite notice, we will carry out the cleaning and invoice the party responsible 50 EUR per call-out, apportioned pro rata where there are several users. Proof of lower costs remains reserved.
  16. By making your reservation/booking you agree to our house rules. In the event of a violation of the house rules, the guest bears the associated additional costs, fees and other expenses. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel the booking early without refund of the booking fees.
  17. Support by our staff via Whatsapp/email/telephone is provided in the period 09:00 – 22:00 depending on availability, but is not owed.
